The Midnight Caller
by Robert Tinnell and Brandon & Brian Fraim

A postcard can cause a hero to spring into action and save the day.

As a boy, writer/director Robert Tinnell camped out in front of his television watching horror films. His debut graphic novel, The Black Forest, perfectly captures the feel of those B movies, as did follow-ups The Wicked West, The Living and the Dead, and Sight Unseen. Ironically, it was Tinnell's romantic comedy comic strip, Feast of the Seven Fishes, that netted him his first Will Eisner Award nomination.

Brendon & Brian Fraim are best known for Knights of the Dinner Table: Illustrated and the comic book sections in the Random House novel, Wolf Boy, by Evan Kuhlman. They are currently illustrating a Webcomic, America, Jr., at www.americajr.net, and the weekly serial, Antiques: The Comic Strip, for Antique Trader. Visit them at www.brosfraim.com.
